Here at MomCo., we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together, face to face. That’s why we rally women to come together in their own neighborhoods and help each other through this thing called motherhood, one gathering at a time.
Our acronym stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” because we began in 1973 when a group of moms of young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past forty-five years, MomCo. has expanded our reach to include moms with older kids, partnering with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 60 countries.
Co-Coordinator - Hey y'all! I'm Jennifer, a mom of 4, a wife of 21 years, a slightly stereotypical Texan, and a lover of 85% dark chocolate. When I’m not feeding small humans, I enjoy long walks on the cul-de-sac and dreaming about travel. I am passionate about seeing lives transformed and am truly blessed by a good testimony...so please share one with me. I am so excited to be serving as our MOMCO co-coordinator again this year, and can't wait to get to know all of our amazing mamas!
Co-Coordinator - Hi, I'm Sara Catherine. Our family moved to SLC from my home state of Virginia in August 2021, and this MomCo. group has been such a blessing over the past 2 years. I've been married to my college sweetheart, James, for 18 years; we have 2 sweet and crazy active boys, Thomas (6) and Nathan (3.5), and a snuggly pup named Auggie. Formerly a tax accountant for 13 years, I now spend my days managing our increasingly busy household, trying to keep up with my boys, and teaching BodyPump group exercise classes. I'm looking forward to leading Capital MomCo. as co-coordinator again this year and building community with each of you!
DGL Coordinator - MomCo. has been a place of great community and encouragement for me! This is my 3rd year at MOMCO, and my first year on steering team where I’ll serve as the DGL Coordinator. I’m originally from Idaho and have been in Utah for the past 9 years. I’ve worked in campus ministry over the past 18 years, serving in Montana, Idaho, East Asia and now here in SLC. My husband, Devon, and I just celebrated our 16th anniversary and we have 4 kids- Charis is 11 (and in middle school!), Selah is 9, Silas is 6, and Ezra is 2. I love travel- from big adventures to small day trips, reading, and chatting over coffee or while perusing a vintage furniture shop.
DGL - Hi, my name is Becky. I am originally from Northern Utah, but after marrying my husband, Erik, the military has taken us to Texas, Japan, Washington, and Oklahoma. We recently moved back to Utah in 2021, where we hope to stay. A former teacher, I am now a mom to 4 rambunctious boys. Brighton (8), Asher (6), Everett (4), and Liam(2). We did adopt a golden retriever puppy this summer, so I officially have a daughter, Chloe. We love to do all the things outdoors and enjoy the beauty Utah has to offer...while burning all the energy! We love to travel and show our kids the world, although it is seldom graceful with a party of 6. This is my second year in MomCo. and I so wish that I had done this earlier in my motherhood journey. It has been such a blessing to me and I look forward to this new year and the relationships that we will forge.
DGL - Hey all! I’m Jen. I’m 30 years old, have been married to the love of my life for 6 years, who gave me two beautiful boys to love and care for. Eli is 4 and Chase will be 2 very soon. I’m a recent transplant to Utah! We moved to West Jordan in July of 2022. We’ve done quite a bit of moving along the west coast since we tied the knot. But this place feels like our right fit and we’re letting our roots grow.
I’m so incredibly excited to meet you all and support you in any way the Lord equips me. Welcome to MomCo.!
DGL - Hey there! I’m Heather Moder, a former High School English teacher now staying home with my precious kiddo. The days are full and usually a mixed bag of joyful and trying. When I can get out of my own way, I am able to see the sure and steadfast love of my big God and Savior Jesus, and that is what makes all the difference. My husband, kiddo and I make up The Best Friends Club, and we enjoy our adventures together, whether it’s a hike, a concert or the farmers market. And, when I’m not playing superheroes vs villains or cleaning big messes born from a child’s even bigger imagination, I’m fulfilling my creative bent through photography, cooking and growing flowers.
DGL - Hi! I’m Courtney. I have been married to my husband, Kevin, for 5 years and we have a little boy, Ryan (4 yrs old) and another boy on the way - Due in December. I am from Tucson, AZ and moved here 2 years ago for my husband’s job. It is the only place I’ve lived outside of Tucson. I love the cooler weather and getting to experience all 4 seasons, especially SNOW!
I was an elementary teacher for 10 years before staying at home with my son. Some of my favorites things are: Disney/Disneyland, the beach, Harry Potter, Gilmore Girls, The Office, reading, home decorating, spending time with my family and being a mom. I am excited to be a DGL again this year and look forward to meeting my table mommas, as well as the rest of the moms!

We recently moved back to Utah after 7 years overseas and MomCo. has been amazing for finding community again. I love painting, photography, reading, and good food.
Hospitality - Margaret is a Tennessee native who LOVES living in Utah and enjoys being outside in every season! She is a SAHM to 18 month old Matteo, but is a social worker by training. When she’s not outside she loves to quilt, bake, and write letters.
Hospitality - I'm originally from Texas, and have lived in Utah 8.5 years. I have a great husband and 2 kiddos. Audrey is 4, has a great sense of humor, and outsasses me for sure, and sweet Eli is two! I love all things coffee (especially Java Jo's), enneagram (2w3), Bachelor (embarrassing, I know), and FALL (yes, sweater weather). I'm looking forward to MomCo. starting this year and the amazing mom community!
Hospitality - My name is Nizel, I am a 35yr old Utah native, mom to 4, wife of 14yrs, chicken wrangler and dog lover. When I'm not bumping the best of the 90s in my car, I'm at home running my small sewing boutique ( www.stitchcrafty.com) or watching call the midwife. I love coffee ( like really really LOVE) and reading, glitter, and making people laugh. My goal for the next year is to get myself out there more. Make new friends and have new experiences.
